Sports massage
Sports massage is a more vigorous form of massage. Ideal after exercise or simply as a firm reset for your body.
The treatment consists of various massage techniques aimed at improving muscle condition. Kneading and effleurage are used to access the deeper muscle layers and this way soften hardened tissue. Stimulating blood circulation ensures that waste products and numerous acid deposits that accumulate during physical exertion are more effectively removed from the muscles. Sports massage can also identify and treat trigger points (tightenings in muscles at a micro-level) so that the muscle regains greater freedom of movement.
The muscles to be targeted during the massage are discussed beforehand. The massage relaxes the muscles, which contributes to an overall improvement in physical and mental well-being. This massage is, of course, very suitable for athletes, but certainly not exclusively for them. It is also intended for people who suffer from tense muscles, stress, headaches, or who lead very active lives.
