Deep Tissue Massage
If a standard relaxation massage isn't enough for your tight muscles, a firmer deep tissue massage may be more effective. During a deep tissue massage, very firm pressure is applied to the area(s) to be treated. This can loosen knots and adhesions.
Tense muscles are often the result of persistent stress or holding the same positions for extended periods, which reduces blood flow to certain muscles. These tense muscles will eventually cause pain, causing them to stiffen and cramp further. In such situations, a deep tissue massage can offer a solution.
Initially, this massage may be painful. Pain thresholds are very personal, varying from person to person, and this is always taken into account. The massage is interrupted regularly to allow the muscles to relax and the pain to subside as the affected muscle areas warm up. Therefore, this massage will still produce a beneficial effect quite quickly.
The skin also contains the reflex zones of the organs, which are automatically stimulated by the massage, improving bodily functions. The nerve endings are also located in the deepest muscle layers of the back. When these deeper muscle layers are loosened, not only pain relief but also improvements in sleep, digestion, bowel movements, and fatigue will occur.Transformational Cupping Massage
What does a cupping massage do?
A cupping massage is a form of massage therapy that uses specialized cups to create suction on the skin.
This suction helps improve blood flow, reduce inflammation and pain, and loosen tense muscles. It can also help remove toxins, promote relaxation, and reduce stress. Painful areas, blockages, and adhesions are thus relieved.
In our cupping massage, we don't use glass cups, but silicone gliding cups that also create a vacuum but glide over the body thanks to the massage oil.
Cupping has a tremendous depth effect and draws up cellular fluid, including waste products and toxins, while simultaneously significantly increasing blood circulation under the cup. Because these substances are drawn up, they can be more easily broken down by the body and/or removed through the pores in the skin.
